Build Better Products
Hi, I'm Amit Baumel. I'm a tenured professor, social-tech entrepreneur, and clinical psychologist. My work moves between academia and technology, with one recurring interest: how to build technologies that genuinely help people.
Over the years, I developed Enlight, an evaluation framework shown to predict how people actually engage with digital interventions, and I chair MindTools.io, one of the longest-standing publicly accessible e-health clearinghouses. I created freely available digital programs supporting parents and training volunteers that have assisted hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. I have also worked with technology companies on product development and with venture capital firms during due diligence to evaluate digital health companies.
More recently, I co-founded a startup using AI to create therapeutic experiences, currently in stealth, and I'm writing my book, Man's Search for Relevance. Read more about me.
